Crywolf is a fortress located southeast of the Valley of Loren. This
is where the alliance of humans and elves fights against Kundun's vast army. The fortress is perfectly
positioned on hilly terrain for defense, making it a key strategic area.
Kundun ordered his army, led by Balgass, to capture the fortress to open a path into the server.
Any character who has reached level 10 can participate (Dark Lord and Magic Gladiator can join the
defense from level 7).
You can enter the Crywolf map:
- From the Valley of Loren at coordinates 161 41;
- Through the teleport menu by pressing the 'M' key;
Information about the Battle for Crywolf
- Balgass and his army attack the fortress three times a week - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - at 21:30;
- All players are notified about the start of the battle via a GM chat message (flashing gold text in the center of the screen);
- Battle duration - 30 minutes;
- At the start of the battle, the safe zone in the fortress becomes a combat zone;
- Players are prohibited from using the Personal Store and NPCs during the battle. Players also cannot attack each other;
- If a hero dies during the battle, they will respawn in the safe zone of Crywolf;
- The goal is to protect the Statue of the Sacred Wolf from destruction and defeat Balgass.
Statue of the Sacred Wolf
This statue is a creation of the ancient elves and is enormous in size, possessing incredible power that
restrains Kundun’s army.
It is also the main target of Balgass and his forces - destroying the statue will allow him to conquer
Crywolf. Therefore, players must do everything possible to protect it and prevent Balgass from achieving
his goal.
Altars
Five altars are located around the Statue of the Sacred Wolf. They are designed to enhance the statue's power through the energy of the elves.
For Balgass, the altars are the primary targets, because once they are destroyed, the statue loses its defensive abilities. To achieve victory, players - and especially elves - must make great efforts to protect the statue. If, at the beginning of the battle, no altar is linked with an elf, the battle is automatically considered lost.
The Role of Elves in Battle
Elves play one of the most important roles in this battle - strengthening the statue's defense using
their energy. Up to five Muse Elf / High Elf characters can connect to each altar.
When an elf successfully connects to an altar, the character cannot perform any actions. Any movement,
attack, or death will break the connection.
Each altar allows only two attempts to connect. Players have two minutes before the start of the battle
to do this.
The statue's vitality increases depending on the health of the connected elves - the more elves
connected, the more HP the statue has. If an elf's HP decreases during battle, the statue's HP also
decreases.
Battle Progress
Before Balgass himself attacks the statue, his army tries to weaken the defense by attacking the
participating players. To do this, he sends his troops under the command of twelve Dark Elves.
The players' task in the first phase is to eliminate all the Dark Elves so that Balgass appears in
person to lead the final assault.
After Balgass's army is destroyed, he personally joins the fight in the last five minutes of the battle
to try to finish his evil plan.
Balgass possesses powerful spells that can cause serious problems for defenders - one of them is a mass
freeze spell (Stern).
Balgass’s HP is displayed in the upper-left corner beneath the statue’s health bar. When his HP reaches
zero, he is defeated and the defense is successful. If he is not defeated within the last five minutes,
the battle is lost.
Victory Conditions
- At least one altar remains and the Statue of the Sacred Wolf is protected.
- Balgass is defeated.
Defeat Conditions
- No elves connected to altars at the start of the battle.
- All altars destroyed and connection not maintained until the end.
- Balgass is not defeated by the end of the battle.
